Concrete Work

Pouring concrete for switchgear pad

Hogan Road Substation

Project was located in Fairport, NY.  Consisted of removing and replacing an existing switchgear pad, installing 8 pier foundations, installing large concrete pad for 3 switchgear assemblies, concrete steps and sidewalk.  All concrete and rebar was furnished and installed by us in addition to site preparation and final stoning.

"The Fairport Municipal Commission recently contracted with Sam & Son to do foundation work at one of our electrical substations in preparation for the installation of new 115kv breakers, transformers and switchgear within an energized switchyard. The complicated foundation work was completed professionally, safely, on time and stayed within the predetermined and agreed upon budget. While paying attention to detail, Sam & Son and their team met every challenge and provided us with sensible and affordable solutions while ensuring the final product met or exceeded our needs and expectations. This project was made easier because we chose Sam & Son. They were invaluable from start to finish and I would gladly recommend them to anyone for foundation work."
