OPERATOR
Sam and Son is a union shop and always interested in additional operators that have experience working in and around energized stations and transmission lines.
responsibilities:
- Safe and competent operation in a variety of heavy equipment.
- Daily inspections and maintenance of machinery being operated.
- Maintaining a professional relationship alongside other operators and laborers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excavator operation ranging from 10 ton to 50 ton machines.
- Dozer Operation with and without GPS
- Class A License (Not Required but Prefered)
- IUOE Member
- Low-Drill Experience (Not Required but Beneficial)

LABORER
Sam and Son is a union shop and always interested in additional laborers that have experience working in and around energized stations and transmission lines.
responsibilities:
- Operation of grade detection devices such as laser levels and transits
- Daily inspections and maintenance of tools.
- Maintaining a professional relationship alongside other operators and laborers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Understanding of how to setup and use a Laser Level
- Understanding of how to setup and use a Transit (not required but preferred)
- Concrete forming and finishing experience
- LIUNA Member

MECHANIC
Sam and Son has a wide variety of heavy equipment and trucks with a full service shop with tooling available to fix any type or size equipment in our fleet.
responsibilities:
- Servicing Heavy Equipment per Standard Maintenance Intervals
- Site Visits to Fix Heavy Equipment
- Maintenance of Truck Fleet
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diesel Mechanic Experience
- Class A License
- MIG and TIG Welding Experience

PROJECT MANAGER
Sam and Son is always looking for individuals with a background in construction management and estimating, specifically those who have experience in projects related to live substation and transmission work.
responsibilities:
- Estimation of projects
- Management of awarded projects
- Assistance in development of Operating Procedures
- Input on Safety Practices
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Project Management Experience
- Estimation Experience
- Background in Electrical Infrastructure
